Peter Beadle has a well deserved reputation as a talented landscape artist. His work often draws on his home area in Central Otago for subject matter, often including references to the history of the area as a gold-mining area and its rugged mountain scenery. His paintings show the glory of the landscape and environment to which Beadle is obviously attached.
Beadle’s paintings are included in many collections, public and private, national and international, including Lloyds of London, The Reserve Bank, The New Zealand Meat Marketing Board and The National Bank.
The New Zealand Government recognized Peter Beadle’s service to the arts and conservation in 1999 when he was awarded an ONZM.
