Working from her Wanaka based studio, Jane Sinclair is well known for her large palette knife paintings. Jane has exhibited locally and internationally where her work has been sold to corporate clients and private collectors.

As a child, Jane grew up in the remote Waitotara Valley where she was influenced at an early age by rural scenes and the play of light on the natural landscapes in her environment. Over the last 30 years she has experimented in a range of mediums - watercolours, inks, acrylics and pastels. After moving to Wanaka in 2010 she found palette knives helped better express the dramatic and sculptural lines of the unique Central Otago landscape. Her works are recognisable for their strong use of colour and texture.

Jane regularly paints commissions for her clients and loves working with them to create treasured original works in her distinct and unique style.
