Diane Gardiner has been an artist for 20 years. While she does not have formal art training, she has attended numerous art workshops and also studied wildlife art with Piers Hayman. Diane has won several awards at the Royal Easter show and has also been featured in several publications, including a cover feature in NZ Art mag.
Diane is proficient across many different media and prefers to paint with pastel pencils, oils, acrylics, and airbrush.
She is grateful of the blessing it is to share her back yard with Mother Nature, and her home and studio is a place where she feels inspired. Diane lives in Mangonui with her wonderful partner Colin and their equally wonderful (but sometimes slightly messy) housemate, Finn, the Blue Labrador.
